Happy Valentine's Day: The Doctor's Lady Contest

'His fingers closed around hers with the softness of a caress. And when his thumb brushed against the pulse in her wrist, her heart tumbled into a dizzying spin.'

Happy Valentine's Day!

Today, I'm participating in Catherine Johnson's Valentine's contest. This quote is from The Doctor's Lady by Jody Hedlund. She shares wonderful writing tips on her blog. Here's a link to her articles on writing.

Catherine's contest is to find a photo that fits the quote.

I'm a bit squeamish about romance, so this is as steamy as I get. What's happening behind the flowers? I'll never tell.

I hope you have a wonderful Valentine's Day with your loved ones.

    1. We were all about smiles on Valentine's Day. Of course, there were also toddler headbutts and belly laughs.

  12. I think you did a great job with that! It's funny . . . I have the same problem writing about romance--at least fictional romance. I have no problem writing about my husband or our relationship, but fictional romance is hard to do well.

  14. Nice! Brief, but it made me smile. I think a lot of people, writers and readers alike, are a bit squeamish about romance...and avoid the "steamy" stuff. :-)

I found my way here via the A-to-Z linky list. Nice to meet you. :-)
